TC9590XBG Description:
HDMI-RX to MIPI CSI2-TX (H2C) is a bridge device that converts HDMI stream to MIPI CSI- 2 TX for automotive applications. Current and next generation application processor chips designed for automotive applications do not have video stream input ports other than CSI-2 for camera input. H2C receives HDMI input and converts to CSI-2 to look like a camera input.
HDMI-RX interface:
HDMI 1.4 - video format support (up to 1080P @60fps)
RGB, YCbCr444: 24-bpp (bits per pixel) @60fps
YCbCr422 24-bpp @60fps
Interlaced video support
Limitation: YCbCr422 16-bpp interlaced video format is not supported. -Audio support
Internal audio PLL tracks the N/CTS value transmitted by ACR packets. - 3D support - HDCP support - DDC support - EDID support
Version, Revision 1 (February 9, 2000)
First 128 bytes (EDID 1.3 structure)
First E-EDID extension: 128 bytes of CEA extension version 3 (specified in CEA-861-D)
Embedded 1k Byte SRAM (EDID_SRAM) - Maximum HDMI clock speed: 165MHz
Audio return path and HDMI Ethernet channel are not supported
CSI-2 TX interface:
MIPI compatible with CSI-2 (version 1.01 version 0.04 - April 2, 2009)
Supports up to 1Gbps per data channel - Video, audio and info frame data can be transmitted via MIPI CSI-2
Support up to 4 data channels
IIC slave interface:
Supports normal (100 KHz) and fast mode (400 KHz)
Support ultra-fast mode (2MHz)
Configure all H2C internal registers
Audio output interface:
I2S or TDM audio interface available (pin multiplexing)I2S audio interface
Single data channel for stereo data
Support master clock mode only
Supports 16, 18, 20 or 24 bit data (depending on HDMI input stream)
Support left or right proof MSB first
Support 32-bit wide time slot only
Output audio oversampling clock (256fs)
TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) Audio Interface:
Fixed to 8 channels (depending on HDMI input stream)
Support 32-bit wide time slot only
Support master clock mode only
Supports 16, 18, 20 or 24-bit PCM audio data words (depending on HDMI input stream)
Output audio oversampling clock (256fs)
Power consumption during typical operation:
720 P:0.48W
1080 P30fps:0.48 W
1080 P60fps:0.54 W
