I. Introduction

Yi open source model is a series of natural language and multimodal models released by Zero One Everything. On May 13, 2024, Zero One Everything released the latest Yi-1.5 series of open source models, open sourced the 6B/9B/34B base version and chat version models, and released them on AI open source community platforms such as ModelScope, huggingface, and wisemodel.

2.1. Zero One Everything

Beijing Zero One Everything Technology Co., Ltd. was founded by Kai-Fu Lee on May 16, 2023. It is an enterprise engaged in the Internet and related services. It is positioned to build AI 2.0 platforms and applications, and develop large models such as the Yi series. The team members are experienced, and the products have accumulated top paying corporate customers. The Yi-34B model released in November 2023 ranked first in the world in the relevant rankings. In June 2024, an alternative plan was launched to block API traffic from OpenAI.
